Laser Hair Removal

Intense pulsed light, commonly abbreviated as IPL, is a technology used to perform various skin treatments including hair removal and photorejuvenation. The technology utilises specific wavelengths of light to target various chromophores in the skin. MICROBLADINGa

Microbladinga is a tattoo technique in which a small, hand-held tool made up of several small needles is used to add semi-permanent pigment to the skin. Microbladinga differs from standard eyebrow tattooing in that each stroke is created by hand using a blade that creates thin slices in the skin, whereas eyebrow tattoos are done with a machine and a single needle . Microbladinga is generally used on eyebrows to create, enhance or reshape their appearance in terms of shape and color. It deposits the pigment in the upper region of the dermis, so it fades faster than traditional tattoo techniques, which deposit the pigment deeper. Microbladinga artists are not necessarily tattoo artists, and vice versa, as the techniques require different training.

Safety precautions for microbladinga are similar to any other tattoo technique. The most common complications and customer dissatisfaction resulting from any form of tattooing are improper pigment application, pigment migration, color change, and in some cases, unintended hyperpigmentation. Serious complications are rare. As with all forms of tattooing, the risks associated with microbladinga include transmission of blood-borne pathogens (eg, HIV, hepatitis C), as well as short- or long-term reactions to pigment ingredients. Therefore, it is essential to verify that the technician has the appropriate licenses and registrations for the provision of tattoo services, as well as to inquire about the level of training of the technician.
